Objective: ASWBAT identify and interpret onomatopoeia and personification in literature to gain meaning.
1. Take the Technology Survey.
2. Copy and complete the Do Now onto page 20 of your Brain. You don't have to copy everything, but you must answer in complete sentences.
3. Track Mr. Herrera as he explains Personification and Onomatopoeia.
4. Track Mr. Herrera as he goes over the Directions for Reading. Then begin reading Chapter 3 of Of Mice and Men (pages 20-32).
5. Draw a horizontal line after your notes and answer the following Think-Write-Pair-Share questions on your own.
6. Complete today's Exit Ticket.
Homework: Finish reading Chapter 3 of Of Mice and Men (pages 20-32). Take notes of all of the examples of metaphors, similes, personification, and onomatopoeia you see.
