Day 41: The Crucible (Day 5)

Objective: ASWBAT interpret literary devices in The Crucible.


1. Take a look at the Criteria for Success and Feedback for your Say, Mean, Matter responses on Author's Tone. Now look at your feedback.

2. Look at the image for today's post. Open your Brain to page 47 and write a one paragraph summary of the events of the story up to now. What has happened so far?

3. Track Mr. Herrera as he models interpreting literary devices and small group reading.

4. In your small group, reread pages 34-46 of The Crucible. See the character list. Afterward, complete this chart on page 47 of your Brain.
