Day 69: Metacognitive Analysis of Common Assessment #1

Objective: ASWBAT analyze their thinking on Common Assessment #1.


Hard work pays off. English is hard work. You can do it!


Announcements:
  • Remember that it's your job to ask questions if you don't understand something.
  • Common Assessment #1 is over. Now it's time to analyze and reflect on our results!
  • Today we will be visiting Math and Science School (MASS). Classes are 37 minutes long, lunch is at 10:30am, we leave at 10:45am, and we return at 1:30pm.
  • This Friday is our 8th Grade End of Quarter #1 field trip. You will be notified this week if you have qualified to attend.

0. Look at the Table of Contents and see if there are any pages you still need to paste. Do that now.

1. Track Mr. Herrera as he leads you through an Error Analysis of Common Assessment #1. Ask questions if you are confused.

2. Look at your own parent letter for Common Assessment #1. Track Mr. Herrera as he shows you how to fill out Common Assessment #1: Metacognitive Analysis. Then complete this individually online and paste it onto page 80 of your Brain once you receive a hard copy.

3. When Mr. Herrera calls you up, place a sticker onto the classroom tracker for each of the standards you have already mastered.

4. If you finish, go to the Early Finishers page to choose how to spend your academic free time.
